This website serves as the home for information about the development of Portland's Citywide Tree Planting Strategy -- a strategy that aims to equitably expand Portland's tree canopy and engage communities. This project is a collaboration between Portland State University's Sustaining Urban Places Research Lab and Portland Parks & Recreation Urban Forestry. The project is for one year -- beginning in September 2016 and ending in December 2017.
The website is also the primary place to learn about the project and find opportunities for participation. You can participate in many ways, including sharing your feedback, participating on a Public Advisory Committee, attending a workshop, and/or taking our tree planting survey. Visit "Get Involved" for details.
Updates and preliminary findings will be posted on this site, although to receive project updates by email, please enter your contact information on the "Subscribe to Newsletter" link to the right of this page.
